Just a couple of pictures from an outing on the Cedar River in Vinton, Iowa. Never know what you will see on the Cedar.

Unfortunately he lost power and ended up on the rocks earlier this summer. Fighting the insurance run around now. Notice the matching duct tape. Cool looking boat anyway.

Here a few of the boats there. Notice how wide the river is or should I say creek.

Now here is something you don’t see everyday. A 16’ john boat with a jack plate running a warmed over Evinrude. Notice the windshield. With the press of a button the windshield drops down for more speed! Don’t laugh too hard this thing runs 64 on GPS! It just won’t turn worth a crap. A true flattie.

Looks kinda funny hang’in off the transom of a johnboat doesn’t it.
